As Christian entrepreneurs, it is our great privilege and responsibility to make a positive impact on the world around us. This includes not only the services and products we offer, but also the way we conduct ourselves in the marketplace.
When I saw the pink feathers of a flamingo out in the wild for the first time it made a lasting impression. I’ll never forget what that looks like! So our actions and words can leave an indelible mark on those we encounter. We have the opportunity to reflect God's love and goodness through our work, and to bring glory to Him in all that we do.
It's not just about putting on a show for others. Our good deeds and positive impressions should come from the inside out, from a genuine desire to serve others and to honor God. When we let our light shine, we are not seeking praise or recognition for ourselves, but instead are pointing others towards the ultimate source of goodness and hope.
Let us strive to make a lasting impression on those we encounter, not for our own glory, but to bring honor to our Heavenly Father.
Prayer: Father God, help me to be a reflection of your love and goodness in the world around me. May my words and actions even in the marketplace leave a lasting impression on others, pointing them towards you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
