Attendee Etiquette 

Real quick, here are some guidelines for how you can show up, and make the most of your event weekend.


WEBCAM ETIQUETTE

With most virtual events, video is one-way. This makes it super difficult for the host and attendees to be engaged and feel connected. That’s why, we ask that you turn on your webcam - and keep it on - for the entire event! My team and I, as well as all of your fellow attendees, want to see your beautiful smile, and see and feel your energy. This is SO important, and it's one of the easiest ways to make this one of the most fun and valuable experiences you’ve ever been a part of!


Quick Tip: Be aware of your surroundings. If you need a restroom break, be sure to turn off your webcam if you take your device with you. Also, take note and pay attention to what is in your background and in view of your webcam. If there is something private or something you don’t want others to see, then we suggest you remove it.


BE PRESENT & PLAY FULL OUT

Being present is the best gift you can give yourself! Resist the urge to take excessive notes, and instead listen intently and capture the “big rock” ideas and concepts. Turn your phone on DO NOT DISTURB and turn off your email, Skype and/or text notifications to minimize distractions. If you can, make plans in advance to support your family with their meals and activities so you can be totally dialed in.


Also, during the event, we will occasionally place you into “breakout rooms” with your fellow attendees as part of the activities in the sessions. These breakouts are essential for you to make the most of your Handprint Legacy Live Virtual experience. Please participate. Do not use these breakout sessions to run errands or check out. Your fellow attendees are in your breakout rooms, waiting and ready to support you, your marketing efforts and your BIG ideas for your business. Show up, and support theirs, too :)

  • Listen to your body
  • Eat healthy
  • Stay hydrated and/or caffeinated (whatever works best for you)
  • Plan your meals in advance
  • Have snacks on hand

STAY ON SCHEDULE

This is a LIVE virtual event. There are no replays. We have planned a very thoughtful series of activities and content to help you make massive progress in getting to a place of confidence and clarity. Please block out all of the event times on your calendar and make a commitment to attend all of the sessions.


CLARITY

Less clutter, more clarity. We believe that less clutter makes it easier for you to learn, gain momentum and make progress. Keep your workspace tidy and comfortable, and ideally free of distractions and away from the “high traffic areas” of your home.
