Course Archetypes Workshop
Day 2
Do It Yourself (DIY) Courses are the most popular online.
Do It Yourself courses are by far the most common type of online course and they have some key pros and cons as explained in the video lesson.
For course creators the biggest advantage is the ability to create the course once and then sell it to students 24x7, a process known as 'evergreen' sales.
The advantage for the student is that they can learn at their own pace, wherever they are and when ever they have time.
The downsides for both student and instructor is the nature of the DIY format means that there is zero interaction between the two. This can make building long term relationships with your students more challenging.
